Senior Communications Consultant

Appointed by the Secretary General as ‘Senior Communication Consultant’ to devise the communication strategy for the next 10 years with special attention to the 2017 General Assembly, held in Helsinki, Finland.

Led the development and production of content on all mediums of communication – on-air, online and on-ground including content creation and design of all publications. Worked with external stakeholders, partners and agencies to collect information and data to be highlighted at the General Assembly.

Scripted and directed interviews with partners, government officials and board members. Designed templates to effectively showcase the success of the organisation through video, photo, multimedia and print mediums. Worked with external agencies to produce content with a unique brand experience which effectively showcase the innovative approaches adopted by the organisation to achieve its goals. Led and managed multifunctional teams across geographies to ensure quality and timely delivery of content.

Devised strategies for engagement and the development of communications products to enhance WFO’s visibility to promote partnership and increase engagement levels with existing partners. Planned and managed media coverage including relations with the media and 50+ partner organisations from more than 40 countries.
